Deleting a Discovery and Inventory Rule

To delete a discovery and inventory rule, perform the following steps.

To delete a discovery and inventory rule:

  1. Go to the Discovery and Inventory Rules page (Data Collection > IT Assets Inventory Tasks > Discovery and Inventory Rules). The page lists the existing discovery and inventory rules.
  2. Click the delete icon for the rule that you wish to delete. The IT Asset Management displays a warning message to confirm the deletion.
  3. Click OK to delete the rule.
