Deleting Hosts From a Cluster

You can delete hosts from a cluster. Deleting a host would delete its details from IT Asset Management. To delete a host:

To delete hosts from a cluster

  1. Go to Inventory > Virtual Devices > Virtual Devices and Clusters. IT Asset Management displays the Virtual Devices and Clusters page.

  2. Click the + icon on the cluster record to expand clusters and virtual hosts present on the cluster.

  3. Click the desired virtual host record and click Delete. IT Asset Management displays a warning message.

  4. Click OK to delete the host.

    • IT Asset Management deletes the virtual host.
    note

    When you remove a virtual host from a cluster, all virtual machines hosted by the host are also unassigned from the cluster.
