Contract Properties / Responsibilities Tab

The Responsibilities tab helps you keep track of the players involved with the contract, perhaps during its development and negotiation and perhaps during its fulfillment. Managers, approval gatekeepers, and other interested parties can all be listed.

Responsibilities can be assigned to any person whose details are stored in the list of users in the system. User information is imported during the inventory import, or records can be created manually (navigate to Enterprise > Create a User). This means that, should you wish to use the Responsibilities tab to track involvement for people from outside your company (other parties to the contract), you will first need to manually create user records to represent them.

Actions

Use this tab for the following tasks, described for each of the columns in the table below:

  • Choose users to identify with this contract, to whom you will assign responsibilities

  • Assign a responsibility to each linked user

  • Add a brief comment about your assignment

  • Navigate to review the user's recorded details

  • Remove the link between a user and this contract, so that the user no longer bears any responsibilities in relation to it.
