Setting Visibility When Creating Custom Dashboards

When creating a dashboard, you can see the Visibility settings (Private, Public, or Public Default). Visibility controls how users in your organization can see the dashboard.

To set the visibility of a custom dashboard:

  1. Go to Dashboards > Cloud.

  2. Click New Dashboard and then click one of the following options:

    • Blank dashboard

    • Duplicate this dashboard

  3. In the Dashboard Name field, enter the name of the dashboard.

  4. To set the visibility of your dashboards, click one of the following options:

    • Private —This dashboard is only visible to you.

    • Public —This dashboard is visible to all users in your organization.

    • Public Default —This dashboard is visible to all the users in the organization. Users will see this dashboard when they view the dashboard for the first time. There is a default dashboard for the Dashboards page (Flexera Default) and another default dashboard for the billing centers.

  5. Click Save.
